Giggles-n-Gulps

Yesterday, we were outside doing yardwork when I noticed a large tree limb that had broken off during the recent Tropical Storm Fay.  It had fallen but was stuck way up in the large oak tree in our front yard. 

So Chris monkeyed his way up into the tree, all the while declaring he’d always wanted to climb that tree.  He pulled down the offending limbs so we could put them on the roadside for the city to pick up and then made his way down to the bottom-most limbs to jump down.

G then ran as fast as he could to the base of the tree with his arms outstretched in the air, yelling…

“I got you, Daddy!”

Of course, as any Mommy would I ran and grabbed my camera and got the second-best shot.  This time, G’s arms weren’t outstretched, they were cupped in front of him to catch Chris.  He was still saying, “I got you, Daddy, come on!”

Oh, the heart of a three-year old!
