Just sharing a random set of interesting articles and sites from the internet that I have saved lately. I either found them fascinating or helpful or amusing and wanted to pass them along. Enjoy!
- Cracking the Code on the Age of Your Tires – a news article from our local news station from about a month ago about the age of your “new” tires. Be warned! I found this to be very helpful consumer advice.
- A Service Advent Calendar – I loved this idea for an Advent Calendar from Traci’s blog. Very powerful, inspiring and amazing! How about it?
- Adventures of BigKat – This is our friend BigKat’s blog. Fantastic ideas for board games, card games, family games, and cooking – pictures included! I love the pictures included on the cooking part. I need pictures.
- Pandora Radio – My friend Jess got me hooked on this one. Fun does not even begin to describe it. Personalized radio. You type in any artist, song, or composer and your “station” is customized for you with similar music to what you typed in. I’ve been introduced to great new artists this way. I just typed in “Third Day (Holiday)” and am listening to their rendition of “What Child Is This?” Very cool. I can’t wait to hear what it brings up next for me! You can even pause it and fast forward…
- Freecycle.org – Love this. We’ve gotten rid of a lot of stuff this way.
- Scientists Dance Own Dissertations in YouTube Sensation – I must admit this fascinated me. Um, wow. I might have to go look at these videos…
I realized that I’ve never done No-Knead bread on the weblog. I’m making some today, so maybe I’ll have to take a few pictures and write it up.
So glad you are enjoying Pandora as much as me!! Love it! Great idea to listen to holiday stuff….I hadn’t thought of that on there. Think I’ll go check it out right now
Oh, I stole the Advent Calendar idea for my Sunday School class this week…
