- We’re getting into a new routine without Goldie here. It’s strange to not let her out as soon as we wake up or for Chris to let her out as soon as he gets home from work.
- The kids still have not asked about her. We are waiting until they bring it up.
- I have banana bread baking in the oven – oh, yum!
- Comfort food, perhaps?
- Healthy comfort food if it contains bananas, right? :)
- There is an egg for protein, bananas from the fruits and veggies group, nuts for more protein…
- I have started a Bible study by Kay Arthur called Return to the Garden. Excellent.
- Its also fun to color in the book and Bible.
- (Her Bible study method uses symbols and/or colors to mark major themes, patterns, words…)
- Still re-reading Heaven with my Dad.
- G recently stayed for a whole week at Chris’s parents house. G made sure to emphasize it was a whole week!
- He had a ball hanging out with them and getting spoiled rotten.
- Somehow he grew up a whole year while he was gone. What happened?
- My baby boy…
- He’ll be four years old soon.
- Oops, I still have Christmas presents to mail out…
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Have the kids realised yet about your dog?
I love banana bread – it is one of the few things my husband likes to make with the kids – we always seem to have over ripe bananas to use up!
No, they have not realized yet. They have mentioned her as they jabber throughout the day, but they have not noticed she is gone. They list her as a member of the family when they name everyone in the family…G does this usually.
