This is a song we did a month or two ago at church and it just knocked my socks off. The worship and the humility and the praise that this song inspires was just amazing to me and brings me to tears every time.
Now, there are a lot of videos on YouTube or Tangle (formerly GodTube) where the music is set to scenes from Passion of the Christ. That is a great movie, but a movie that my poor heart can only take very little. When I find a song I want to post that is set to scenes from the Passion, I usually find another video. This time is an exception. I think it is wholly appropriate in light of the content of the song and Resurrection Sunday that is upcoming. Heartbreaking yet ultimate joy at the beauty – how do those two things co-exist, really? In God’s Hands…when He leads us to the Cross.
Listen.

For some reason the song kept freezing, But I’ll look it up on my own. It sounds beautiful
So sorry! I added the direct link to the post…not sure why that would happen…
I agree. I can only take small sections of The Passion at a time. I always feel guilty tho. How can I not watch it when he had to live it?
I love the lyrics of this song. My favorite songs are ones that I can pray them as I sing them, and this is most definately one of them.
Thanks for that beautiful worship song. I agree with what you said. Thanks for visiting my today. I see you teach piano. I wish you could play the songs I have written on my music blog. It is so difficult for me to get them perfectly right on CDs to share.
Thank you for sharing this song that has brought me into the presence of God in worship ((Hugs))
This is a wonderful worship song! I agree on songs you can pray and sing!
Have a fabulous weekend!
Beautiful song. Thanks for sharing.
And thanks for explaining about Tangle/God Tube. I’ve been seeing Tangle on videos a lot lately and didn’t realize what it was.
Wonderful song! Thank you for sharing something to prepare our hearts even more for the cross and resurrection. Blessings! Amanda:)
