Interviewed on Sharing the Journey

One of the neatest people I have the pleasure of working with in postpartum mood disorder advocacy is Lauren of Sharing the Journey.   She interviewed me (via email) recently about Out of the Valley and my PPD journey and today that interviewed has been posted.  You can read it here:

I highly encourage you to check out her blog.  I love her transparent approach to writing about her family life as well as keeping us updated about PPMD related news.  She is a sweetheart!  And thank you, Lauren!

  1. Wow, it was beautifully written, and I think you did a great job of representing yourself and your mission. I learned a lot about your struggle, and I know you are a blessing to other mamas who have been in that situation (you are a blessing to me and we have very different issues! :)

Haven’t talked to you in awhile. Been a tough week (see my blog post- you are the only person who knows me in person that reads my blog, so I fear your judgment the most, though I know you already knew I wasn’t perfect…) Hope your week has been joyous! Let’s do coffee (hot chocolate ;) soon!!!

  2. Thanks for sharing your story. I’m sorry you had to suffer so much, but thankful that baby #2 was much easier for you. Blessings!
