- I’m just keeping you all on your toes by being random and posting this list on Saturday instead of Wednesday. Hehe.
- G is talking so much and is able to express his thoughts and ideas better and better each day. It has been fun to have ongoing conversations with him.
- Last weekend, I got to have some “alone-time” while Chris and the kids went to Grandma and Granddaddy’s house.
- Sheer bliss.
- Except for the not sleeping part. It was kind of hard to sleep in an empty house.
- It was great to see them again on Monday.
- Next trip? Haha, just kidding.
- Maybe.
- So last night Chris went to make a smoothie and I say to him, “Don’t you break my blender!” Half-joking, half-not.
- He broke my blender.
- Some power tools just need to stay out of the hands of men.
- I am a bit protective of my power tools.
- His hide and his wallet were saved when we figured out that the ruined part could be easily replaced for a fraction of the cost of a replacement blender.
- We watched a movie last night called The Kingdom with Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner. Intense.
- On my “me” weekend, I watched Juno. What a great movie! Loved it. I can now see what all the fuss was about.
- Have you seen any movies recently that you really enjoyed?
Wasn’t Juno awesome? I just loved her dry sarcasm. Cracked me up- all the things I wished I could say (well, some I did) when I was in high school and pregnant. I just loved it. Glad you enjoyed it.
I saw Yes Man with Jim Carrey- I either love him or hate him in moves- I’m not an Ace Venture/Mask fan but more of a Fun With Dick and Jane/Eternal Sunshine fan. I don’t think fart noises are funny in movies
And, Australia!!! That was the best movie I’ve seen in a long time. I think both movies are out in theatres, maybe.
Talk to you soon! Miss ya.
Just recently saw Juno myself – loved it too.
Saw ‘Adrenaline Rush’ on the OMNIMax yesterday. I liked it, but it gave my wife a migrane
honey, a blender is an appliance, not a power tool.
