Once upon a time, there was a girl who…

Don’t you just love fairy tales?  Although it seems that the commercialism of a certain company has pushed the “princess” theme too far, I do still love a good fairly tale.  One of my favorites is Cinderella, particularly the movie adaptation “Ever After” with Drew Barrymore.

But even better than a princess, I am thrilled to be a part of the Bride of Christ, His Church.  I am beautiful in His eyes, prettier than a princess.

This may be wierd, but a song popped in my head.  All this talk of princesses, I suppose.  And movies.  I’m hearing Bryan Adams singing “Everything I do, I do it for you…” – the theme song for Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves with Kevin Costner.  Love that movie, too.  I still remember watching it in the movie theater, too.

No songs, no movies…got nothing there.  I think I’m just going to try to do better giving my God my all this week.
