- We went swimming at a pool and the beach today. Kids had a ball!
- Not so much my firey-hot back. Ouch!!!
- Last time I was this burnt, I had just found out I was pregnant with G.
- Cold showers work wonders. I may live there for the next few days.
- No, I’m not dramatic at all with my pain, why do you ask?
- The kiddos swim classes are going great! G can now swim underwater and next time they will start removing the “bubbles” from the swim belt thingy he wears. S just goes and goes and goes when we are in her class.
- Girl wears me out! It’s a workout for me, too.
- *whine* I’m going to be sleeping on my tummy for awhile. And why can I never find the sunburn/aloe stuff when I need it? Why?? It always pops up when I don’t need it.
- I am reading Bodie Theone’s Vienna Prelude right now – Christian fiction that takes place around WWII and centering on the plight of the Jewish people and Hitler’s regime coming to power. So sad to read and know that even while what I am reading is fiction, it did happen.
- I can never, ever get over that.
- I have to wonder though – did the Christians then believe that the end times that the Book of Revelation and of Daniel speak of were upon them?
- What I am quite certain of is the many prayers to Heaven for Lord Jesus to return now.
- I am generally a huggy person but this sunburn is really going to put a damper on things for awhile! What am I going to do without hugs?!
- Reminds of the time that I returned to college for sophomore year, for band camp, and everyone and their cousin wanted to give me a hug hello. It took me off-guard ’cause they just don’t do that in high school, you know? Well, I had just gotten a tattoo on my back.
- Oh yea. Those hugs hurt. I had to grit and grin my way through it. It wasn’t like I could broadcast my tattoo – such art was not as popular then as it is now, especially at a, ahem, private Baptist college.
- Me? Rebellious? Noooo….
- Quietly so. Sometimes not so quietly.
- It has been SO hot here lately. Mid 90s, high humidity…uuugggghhhhh. This is the time of year when I do not like Florida.
- Unfortunately, it lasts for several months. Too hot to stay outside for too long.
- Off to work on a cooking/recipes adventures post…
I am equally dramatic over my sunburned knees.
