- We are in Kentucky this week, back home visiting family and friends.
- This state is so incredibly beautiful.
- And the weather – beautiful!! It’s not overwhelmingly hot like another state I live in.
- My kids don’t sleep well away from home. Somebody please tell me they will grow out of this.
- G and S enjoyed their airplane rides. G says he had fun riding the rocket-jet-helicopter-airplane.
- He likes to cover all his bases.
- I didn’t enjoy the airplane rides so much, but that’s ok. The kids did really well all things considered.
- Bizarre coincidence – at the Atlanta airport a mother and her grown son sat down next to us. BOTH were piano teachers, just like myself. How about that?
- They were very kind and so good with my kids, who make friends of strangers scarily quickly.
- Today we’re off to visit more old friends and hang out with the fam.
- We especially like terrorizing Aunt Jenny.
- How about some random photos?

Morning...the view from Mom and Dad's porch here in Kentucky

S had an instant connection with Aunt Jenny

The kids petting an emu at a park where I used to work.
We are glad to have you “home” in the Bluegrass State.
Love the view from the porch. Beautiful, and peaceful!
Makes me homesick.
Uh…can I get the address to that porch? I don’t even need to go in the house. I can just camp out in the front yard if that’s ok. So georgous!
