Another Grandma story…she makes me laugh so hard!

I was at the nursing home visiting her last night, showing her pictures I had taken during the week.  She had asked to see them before I left.  I showed her the picture of she and I together and she lamented how she looked…

Grandma:  Oh my goodness, look at my hair, oh, that’s terrible!

Me:  But Grandma, your lipstick was hot!

Grandma:  (laughs, she had worked all day on her lipstick she had said before)  But look at you, you are so beautiful, Tara!

Me:  (laughing, don’t grandmas always say that)  Well, Grandma, that’s because I get it from you!

Grandma:  (serious as can be) That’s true.  That’s true.

I couldn’t contain my laughter.

Growing Up
