Randomness 69

  • It’s October.
  • Would somebody please let Florida know?  Goodness, it’s HOT!  90s??
  • I love the sound of my floors being worked on.
  • Music to my ears.
  • *pound, rip, pound, rip*  (wood floors coming up to prepare for tile going down)
  • Previous owners made a bad choice of flooring for the kitchen.  Manufactured hard woods warp badly in the kitchen where too much stuff gets spilled and dropped.
  • Tile is better, where you can wipe spills up or shatter stuff.
  • I like to look at the bright side, you know.
  • I’m dreaming of new furniture  for my house.
  • Someday.
  • G came home with the most hilarious project from school. They had made out of white paper big elephant ears and a trunk, all stapled together, that they could put on – so it was child-sized.  It was SO cute and simple.  I’ll have to post a picture of G wearing it.
  • It made us both bust out laughing when he put it on.
  • S is in a stage where she is answering all our questions with animal sounds.
  • So is two barks a yes and one ribbit a no?
  • I’m still trying to figure it out.

  1. We had a type of vinyl wood floors in our old kitchen, but they were water-safe. Never had an issue. I miss those floors. *sniffle*
