Biking in the Park

DSCN2656

On a nice day recently (chilly for our neck of the woods, hence the jackets), I loaded up the kids and bikes and uber furry dog and headed to the local park around the corner.  We had a great time riding around the bike trail through the “woods.”   Considering I grew up in the wilderness of Kentucky, it’s hard to call this a nature trail when the interstate is roaring mere yards from where we are, ahem, peacefully riding, but it is a nice ride and great exercise.  We are so excited that this great park opened so very close to our house.

Next on my shopping list is my own bike.  Their little legs are starting to get a little fast for my stride.

A pink bike.

I’m all girl like that.

  1. I have a pink bike on my wish list too! A pink bike with a pink basket in the front…and maybe even a bell! :)

  2. I bought myself a bike about 18 months ago for this very reason. Don’t use it as often as I should, but great for keeping up with my daughters.

Won’t be long til my 5 year old can manage to keep up with me!!!
