I am so impressed by you doing this . There is obviously heaps of great resources and other home-schooling parents out there for support, but ultimately it comes down to committed parents taking a step into the unknown for their kids. Bravo!

I picked up some addition flash cards from the dollar bin at Target so that LilKat2 could work on his math facts. He was so excited that he wanted to do them in the car on the way home. So I pulled them out and started reading them off to him. Well, then LilKat1 wanted to participate also. But he already knows all of his addition facts. So I had him multiply the numbers (so if it was a 3+5 card, he would do 3×5). Well, then PrincessKat wanted to get into the action. She can’t add yet, so I had her read off the numbers. So the way it worked was PrincessKat would read off the numbers, LilKat1 would multiply them, and LilKat1 would add then. We did this the whole way home.
